During the “Be Ready” training organized as part of the project to strengthen the resilience of Ger communities to floods, residents were introduced to the project process and learned about climate change mitigation, adaptive living, especially flood risk reduction, and the possibility of overcoming flood hazards with minimal damage. The residents who participated in the training will not only acquire the ability to prevent disasters for themselves and their families, but will also be responsible for organizing the training among the residents of the community in the future and disseminating knowledge and information on disaster risk reduction.
